We Draft More

Our CAD department works closely with both the graphics team for initial concept design & our production managers to ensure quality control and stability of large signs. We are well versed using the ASA reference book for structure stability & detailed information to aid us in combining quality & esthetics for your signage.

Traffic & highway signs are designed based on the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD - Canada) and the Alberta Infrastructure Sign Manual. Extruded highway signs are designed using GuideSign, which is a CAD based software for road & highway sign design.

Whether we need to obtain detailed foundation drawings, or calculate the width of the poles required to withstand the wind load against your pylon sign - our CAD department has the answer. If the sign is outside of the standard parameters, our team will consult with an engineer and obtain an engineered stamp prior to moving forward with the project. Monument and pylon signs generally require a screw pile or concrete base, see below to reference a typical drawing.
